Tren Urbano Puerto Rico
The Metro Tren Urbano (Train Station) it only goes to the metro area. From the town Bayamón to Sagrado Corazón in San Juan.
It's important that you have coins the machine for the ticket sometimes don't work with money or credit card.
Students have different prices also senior citizen check the upper photo for all the details.
What can I see on each Train Stop?
Bayamón
You can walk the downtown of Bayamón see the Cantón Mall and also the Marketplace. There are a variety of Food Trucks one in The Trailers the other one is in from of the CDT of Bayamón is a Medical Center. It also has parking in the train station.
Deportivo
This stop is for visiting the Santa Rosa Mall, Ikea & Parking area in the train station and the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez, Hospital Hima San Pablo, Judicial Center from Bayamón.
Jardines
This is just a stop in a residential area also have parking for the train.
Torrimar
You can go to the Ben and Jerry's Ice Crean just outside the train station. There is a park not too far away for exercise named; Complejo deportivo Torrimar. It's close to avenue Los Filtros and Torrimar residential. It has a small parking in front of the train station and also a mini shopping center.
Martines Nadal
This is a residential stop it has a big parking for cars and also its walking distance to medical office and the Hospital Metropolitano. Conexion Intermodal with AMA & MetroUrbano.
Las Lomas
This is a residential stop doesn't have parking it's also walking distance to the Hospital Metropolitano and medical office. You can take Martines Nadal or Las Lomas each one is at the same street same distance for me it's better to take Martines Nadal.
San Francisco
This is a residential stop with business it has parking. Walking distance and very close to the Hospital of Veterans.
Centro Medico
This is an exclusive stop for the people that need to visit the Hospital Centro Medico & Cardiovascular medical center.
Cupey
This stop is close to avenue also walking distance to the University of Ana G Mendez, Jardín Botaníco from the UPR University. Here you can take the Metro E30 blue bus that it will take you to the downtown of Caguas. You can connect with the AMA bus stop here at this terminal in Cupey. Be careful crossing the avenue if you are going to the Jardín Botanico walking distance is far away from the train station.
Rio Piedras
This train first stop has 3 stops in Rio Piedras the first stop if you came from Bayamón it will stop at front of the Cathedral Nuestra Sra. del Pilar. The Second Stop it will leave you close to Paseo de Diego. These both stops are walking distance to Paseo de Diego they are very close to the entrance from the downtown of Rio Piedras. And the third stop is at the UPR University that is on the other side of Rio Piedras.
Universidad
This is a stop for the University of Puerto Rico also you are walking distance to the downtown of Rio Piedras and also to the Cathedral San Antonio de Pauda. Hospital Auxilio Mutuo unsafe walking from the train to the hospital be alert of surroundings ask a train personal if there is a bus that will leave you inside the Hospital.
Piñero
This stop will leave you at the Hato Rey south district station. The name from this station is Jesus T. Piñero. Connection with the bus AMA, Judicial Center of San Juan, Milla de Oro. It has a privet parking. In my opinion a very chaotic stop and unsafe to walk.
Domenech
This stop is more for the residential area, Hospital Pavia Hato Rey and la Milla de Oro.
Roosevelt
This is the stop for the Mall Plaza las Americas is not close you have to walk a lot. It's close to the University Politecnica de PR and it also have a connection to the bus AMA.
Hato Rey
This stop is mostly used for the Coliseo de PR( Choliseo), Fine Arts Cinema and a very long walk to Plaza las Americas Mall.
Sagrado Corazón
This stop is mostly used for the residential area, The University Sagrado Corazón, YMCA San Juan, CESCO and a connection to the bus AMA.
I used the Metro E30 to Cupey to visit Rio Piedras, Deportivo, Bayamón & if I need to go to a Hospital, I will used one of the stops. Also, the Hato Rey stop for a concert at the Coliseo de PR nickname Choliseo.
These is the information from the Caguas Metro E30 time and rates. The Blue Bus Metro E30 only takes coins and its $2.00 adults. The bus only takes the highway it can have traffic jam at some hours.
