CRUISE SHIP Alert at La SANSE!

  • My Cruise Ship Stop at Old San Juan in the days of La SANSE, what should I do?

If you have kids very young don't get out of the Ship. If you want to buy handmade items, this is the moment, go very early 9am and then at 1pm go back to your ship. You will not see Museums or Forts they will be closed. It's not the best time to eat at a restaurant just eat outside, walk and shop and go back to Cruise Ship.

This is ok for the Ships that are dock in front at Old San Juan if your Ship is dock at the Pier that is at Miramar Port (Convention Center/ T Mobile District) don't go to Old San Juan. Why? You can miss your Cruise Ship and not make it on time because of all the traffic and people walking to La Sanse.

If you are staying at a Hotel or Airbnb inside Old San Juan and you arrive at Miramar Port you can walk to Old San Juan it will take you 1hr walking. Cars do not enter to the Event area so Uber will not work you will have to walk. Try to walk early 8am they are less people and maybe you can have a chance to get Uber.

IMPORTANT:

DO NOT BRING PETS TO LA SANSE

  • How is the situation heading back to our cars?
There will be long lines specially to travel in the train Tren Urbano. You can be in line 2- or 3-hours same thing to la Lancha de Cataño also knows as the Ferry. The fastest way will be taking the helicopter and the taxis that will take you to the Tren Urbano.

 Have patience!
