St.Croix is a Caribbean Island part of the Virgin Island. Local explain it like this... St.Thomas is the Capital, St.Croix is the Mountain and St. Jhon is the Reserved National Park.
St.Croix have two side one is Frederiksted & Christiansted they are two different areas here I will explain what you can do in this lovely Island.

AIRPORT
Henry E. Rohisen International Airport.
The airport is on the Frederik side of the Island the west side. It's a small airport with lots of people going to USA, Puerto Rico and other places. There is only one line for the Pre checkup & TSA for all the passengers it can take 1hr to do the line.
RENTAL CAR:This mean that you need to be with 1hr and 30min ahead of time specially if you are renting a car. Important to know that you need to return the car clean with no sand on the car or they will charge you $200.00 for cleaning service. They are a lot of gasoline stations on the Island a few with a vacuum cleaner so ahead of time look for one.
TAXIS
What is best Taxi or Renting a Car?
If you are going to road trip you need to rent a car. But if you are only traveling to a hotel and don't go out to see other things a taxi is best for you.
They are not a lot of taxis so they can be slow mover. There is No Uber on the Island.
My recommendation rent a car. They drive on the LEFT side!
WHAT TO VISIT?
If you are traveling from a Cruise Ship you will enter on the Frederik side just beside the clock and the Frederiks Fort.
The public plaza is called: Buddhoed Park
A historical symbol from African American from St. Croix.
The Frederiks Fort is one of the landmarks to see in St. Croix the Museum entrance is $10.00 per person.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4pm
Important Note:
They told me they have in plans to repair the Fort so maybe it will be closed when you visit.

The Beach side cafe is a beautiful restaurant and bar in front of the beach this is also one of the best beaches from the west side.

WHERE TO SHOP?
In the West side of the Island, the "Malls" are small gifts stores for you to find items that can be related to St. Croix. You can walk the area in front of the Cruise Ship Port to see all the restaurants and gift shops.
They have a lot of stores that are in my Island Puerto Rico.
If you have a rent car you can drive to several stores like Kmart that is still open the Dollar Store, Rainbow, Marianne Plus, Payless Shoes and others stores like Home Depot, Office Depot & Caribbean Cinemas.
Also, if you are from Puerto Rico the St. Croix Island have Banco Popular, Oriental Bank and First Bank. Also, in the Airport they have a First Bank cash machine.

SUPERMARKETS
St. Croix have a lot of supermarkets I visit Plaza Extra and Cost U less that is like a Costco. Also, the Island have Supermercado Pueblo that is from Puerto Rico. The prices are high!!!

What to see on the East side Christiansted
Christiansted Boardwalk
This is the best place to shop and have fun at night. They have a nice bar on the streets and the boardwalk, boutiques and gift shops. This area is on the East side of the Island of St. Croix its 1hr driving from the Cruise Port or Airport. Also, its 15 min drive to Point Udall.

Point Udall
This is one of the landmarks of St. Croix you have to visit Point Udall the most beautiful East Sunset from the USA when I visit it was raining but the sun came fast and stop raining. Take all the photos here and enjoy the view.
