The Old San Juan is celebrating its 500 hundred years, On September 12, 1521, the Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce de León transferred the Caparra settlement to San Juan Bautista Islet known today as Old San Juan.

The History of Old San Juan Amaze me we are the first from the new world that have cabo stones made by African slaves. They pave the way to know now as we call it roads. The Slave built such beautiful buildings and it’s because of them we owe our Old San Juan.
Puerto Rico our Island was built by 3 strong men and women’s Taínos, African and Spanish this is why we as Puerto Ricans, are unique our blood makes us stronger and resilient.
The Old San Juan from my great grandparents, grandparents, and my parents and now me we all at some point in life have stepped in the Old San Juan we all enjoy its beauty. On this 500 five-hundred-year anniversary I want to celebrate with you, my memories. That is why I made this video to preserve my love for Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.
